UK based startup Wild were determined to shake up the industry with their sustainable deodorant case and innovative 100% plastic-free bamboo pulp refills. Small enough to ship through your letterbox, this product has had large success, claiming several industry recognised awards in the process.
Over 250 million deodorants are bought in the UK every year, with the average lifespan of a plastic deodorant pack lasting over 400 years after use. Made from aluminium and post consumer recycled plastic, the Wild case is completely custom designed to be used again and again, significantly reducing the impact consumers are having on the planet. Once used up, the refill will fully compost within 6 months and biodegrade within 12 months leaving no trace of what it once was. Every detail has been carefully considered to achieve a compact and unisex design.
Wild deodorant was awarded a Wooden Pencil at the 2020 D&AD awards, as well as winning Gold in the 2021 Pentawards for Sustainable Design and being shortlisted for the Pentawards People’s Choice award in the same year.
