Art of Ping Pong
A collapsible ping pong table which doubles as a literal art canvas you can hang on your wall. An ongoing relationship has seen a series of tables and nets designed for AoPP. Off the wall and on with the game!
Having launched a successful charity and producing small batch tables, AoPP required a redesign of their tables in order to reduce manufacturing costs and improve batch production speed. With a canvas that can be directly decorated, AoPP tables are adorned with artwork to be displayed in the home, while transforming into ping pong tables ready for some friendly competition. Afterwards a full size table design was created with custom tubular steel legs, inspired by the moving bounce of the ping pong ball and side storage for bats and balls. Following up were the ArtNets, which allow any table to be transformed into a playing surface with their stacking form and produced in a variety of colours, and when play is stopped the ArtNet is hung on the wall as a contemporary piece of interior design.
